Day 2 - Christchurch - Mount Cook - Queenstown
Cross the Canterbury Plains into the Mt Cook National Park and through the spectacular Mackenzie Country to the Lindis Pass. Pass the stone fruit growing area of Cromwell and past the Kawarau Gorge with its historic gold mines to Queenstown. Stay 3 nights in Queenstown.

Day 3 - Queenstown - Milford Sound - Queenstown
A full day taking in the wonders of Milford Sound and Mitre Peak, while enjoying lunch aboard a cruise on the Sound, returning to Queenstown by evening

Day 4 - At Queenstown
Today is free for you to enjoy this fabulous alpine village. We have included the Skyline Gondola in your tour.

Day 5 - Queenstown - Taieri Gorge - Dunedin
This morning board a coach to Pukerangi where you will join the Taieri Gorge train and enjoy rugged, unspoilt landscape and the opportunity for sightseeing stops. Enjoy breath-taking views on this historic journey to Dunedin. Stay 2 nights in Dunedin

Day 6 - At Dunedin
Morning at leisure to explore Dunedin. This afternoon you will see penguins, fur seals and albatross on this unique Otago Peninsula wildlife tour.

Day 7 - Dunedin - Christchurch
Travel north through historic Oamaru, and seaside Timaru, then across the Canterbury Plains to Christchurch arriving early evening. Please note, no commentary is provided on this journey.
